# MAP::BLIP_ADD_FOR_RADIUS

- **Hash:** `0x45F13B7E0A15C880`
- **Namespace:** MAP
- **Runtime name (Lua/JS):** `BlipAddForRadius`
- **Side:** client (game native)
- **Name status:** official
- **Documentation:** described with examples
- **Since game build:** 1207
- **URL:** https://natives.borderlinerp.com/natives/MAP/BLIP_ADD_FOR_RADIUS

## Signature

```c
Blip BLIP_ADD_FOR_RADIUS(Hash blipHash, float x, float y, float z, float radius);
```

## Parameters

- `blipHash` (`Hash`) — Blip style hash, e.g. BLIP_STYLE_AREA_NO_DIM (620596860) or BLIP_STYLE_RADIUS (-1282792512).
- `x` (`float`)
- `y` (`float`)
- `z` (`float`)
- `radius` (`float`)

## Returns

`Blip`

## Verified notes

`BLIP_STYLE_AREA` darkens while the player is inside the circle; `BLIP_STYLE_AREA_NO_DIM` does not. Add `BLIP_MODIFIER_AREA_ACCURATE` for a sharp edge.

Common style values (signed, as Lua expects):

| Style | Value |
| --- | --- |
| `BLIP_STYLE_AREA_NO_DIM` | 620596860 |
| `BLIP_STYLE_AREA` | 1247852480 |
| `BLIP_STYLE_RADIUS` | -1282792512 |
| `BLIP_STYLE_SHOP` | 168093330 |
| `BLIP_STYLE_PICKUP_WEAPON` | 1664425300 — only visible on the pause map when zoomed in |

Verified in game on the Borderline RP server, September 2026.

## Usage

### Lua

```lua
local retval = BlipAddForRadius(blipHash, x, y, z, radius)
-- always available, by hash
local retval = Citizen.InvokeNative(0x45F13B7E0A15C880, blipHash, x, y, z, radius, Citizen.ResultAsInteger())
```

### JavaScript

```js
const retval = BlipAddForRadius(blipHash, x, y, z, radius);
// by hash
const retval = Citizen.invokeNative('0x45F13B7E0A15C880', blipHash, x + 0.0000001, y + 0.0000001, z + 0.0000001, radius + 0.0000001, Citizen.returnResultAnyway(), Citizen.resultAsInteger());
```

### C#

```csharp
int retval = Function.Call<int>((Hash)0x45F13B7E0A15C880, blipHash, x, y, z, radius);
```

- Hash parameters: the named function also accepts a string and hashes it for you; `Citizen.InvokeNative` needs the number — pass `joaat("name")` or a backtick literal like `` `name` ``.
- Float parameters: Lua integers (`10`, or whole numbers decoded from NUI/JSON) are sent as ints and read as garbage. Write `10.0` or `value + 0.0`. The generated JS wrappers add `0.0000001` to non-zero floats for the same reason.
