- **Namespace:** MISC
- **Runtime name (Lua/JS):** `GetNumberOfBulletsInArea`
- **Side:** client (game native)

## Signature

```c
int _GET_NUMBER_OF_BULLETS_IN_AREA(float x, float y, float z, float radius, BOOL p4, BOOL p5);
```

## Parameters

- `x` (`float`)
- `y` (`float`)
- `z` (`float`)
- `radius` (`float`)
- `p4` (`BOOL`)
- `p5` (`BOOL`)

## Returns

`int`

## Description

*Source: alloc8or RDR3 NativeDB*

Returns the number of bullets in an area.
Research notes this does not appear to work for arrows or throwable projectiles.

*Source: VORPCORE RDR3natives*

returns the number of bullets that were shot in the area

## Usage

### Lua

```lua
local retval = GetNumberOfBulletsInArea(x, y, z, radius, p4, p5)
-- always available, by hash
local retval = Citizen.InvokeNative(0xDC416CA762BC4F43, x, y, z, radius, p4, p5, Citizen.ResultAsInteger())
```

### JavaScript

```js
const retval = GetNumberOfBulletsInArea(x, y, z, radius, p4, p5);
// by hash
const retval = Citizen.invokeNative('0xDC416CA762BC4F43', x + 0.0000001, y + 0.0000001, z + 0.0000001, radius + 0.0000001, p4, p5, Citizen.returnResultAnyway(), Citizen.resultAsInteger());
```

### C#

```csharp
int retval = Function.Call<int>((Hash)0xDC416CA762BC4F43, x, y, z, radius, p4, p5);
```

- Float parameters: Lua integers (`10`, or whole numbers decoded from NUI/JSON) are sent as ints and read as garbage. Write `10.0` or `value + 0.0`. The generated JS wrappers add `0.0000001` to non-zero floats for the same reason.
- The name is a community guess and may change. If the named call is missing in your client build, use `InvokeNative` with the hash — it always works.
