# PED::_HAS_PED_SHOT_RECENTLY

- **Hash:** `0xB7DBB2986B87E230`
- **Namespace:** PED
- **Runtime name (Lua/JS):** `HasPedShotRecently`
- **Side:** client (game native)
- **Name status:** community guess (may change)
- **Documentation:** described
- **Since game build:** 1207
- **URL:** https://natives.borderlinerp.com/natives/PED/_HAS_PED_SHOT_RECENTLY

## Signature

```c
BOOL _HAS_PED_SHOT_RECENTLY(Ped ped, float seconds);
```

## Parameters

- `ped` (`Ped`)
- `seconds` (`float`)

## Returns

`BOOL`

## Description

True if the ped fired a weapon within the last `seconds` (seconds -> compared in ms internally). Returns false if no recent shot is recorded.

## Usage

### Lua

```lua
local retval = HasPedShotRecently(ped, seconds)
-- always available, by hash
local retval = Citizen.InvokeNative(0xB7DBB2986B87E230, ped, seconds, Citizen.ReturnResultAnyway())
```

### JavaScript

```js
const retval = HasPedShotRecently(ped, seconds);
// by hash
const retval = Citizen.invokeNative('0xB7DBB2986B87E230', ped, seconds + 0.0000001, Citizen.returnResultAnyway());
```

### C#

```csharp
bool retval = Function.Call<bool>((Hash)0xB7DBB2986B87E230, ped, seconds);
```

- Float parameters: Lua integers (`10`, or whole numbers decoded from NUI/JSON) are sent as ints and read as garbage. Write `10.0` or `value + 0.0`. The generated JS wrappers add `0.0000001` to non-zero floats for the same reason.
- The name is a community guess and may change. If the named call is missing in your client build, use `InvokeNative` with the hash — it always works.
