# TASK::_SET_INTIMIDATED_FACING_ANGLE

- **Hash:** `0x0FE797DD9F70DFA6`
- **Namespace:** TASK
- **Runtime name (Lua/JS):** `SetIntimidatedFacingAngle`
- **Side:** client (game native)
- **Name status:** community guess (may change)
- **Documentation:** described with examples
- **Since game build:** 1207

## Signature

```c
void _SET_INTIMIDATED_FACING_ANGLE(Ped ped, BOOL useLimits, float minAngle, float maxAngle);
```

## Parameters

- `ped` (`Ped`)
- `useLimits` (`BOOL`)
- `minAngle` (`float`)
- `maxAngle` (`float`)

## Returns

`void`

## Description

*Source: alloc8or RDR3 NativeDB*

Controls intimidated/hogtied ped facing.
If useLimits=false, always face the player; if =true, clamp facing within [minAngle, maxAngle] degrees.
Angle note: the range defines the allowed yaw cone around the intimidator e.g., [0,90] permits a quarter-turn, [-30,30] a tight ±30°, and wider ranges allow more swivel.

*Source: VORPCORE RDR3natives*

Configures how an intimidated/hogtied ped faces the player If useLimits is false (0), the ped always fully faces the player.If useLimits is true (1), the ped’s facing is restricted within the given angle range [minAngle, maxAngle]

## Usage

### Lua

```lua
SetIntimidatedFacingAngle(ped, useLimits, minAngle, maxAngle)
-- always available, by hash
Citizen.InvokeNative(0x0FE797DD9F70DFA6, ped, useLimits, minAngle, maxAngle)
```

### JavaScript

```js
SetIntimidatedFacingAngle(ped, useLimits, minAngle, maxAngle);
// by hash
Citizen.invokeNative('0x0FE797DD9F70DFA6', ped, useLimits, minAngle + 0.0000001, maxAngle + 0.0000001);
```

### C#

```csharp
Function.Call((Hash)0x0FE797DD9F70DFA6, ped, useLimits, minAngle, maxAngle);
```

- Float parameters: Lua integers (`10`, or whole numbers decoded from NUI/JSON) are sent as ints and read as garbage. Write `10.0` or `value + 0.0`. The generated JS wrappers add `0.0000001` to non-zero floats for the same reason.
- The name is a community guess and may change. If the named call is missing in your client build, use `InvokeNative` with the hash — it always works.

## Examples

```lua
--Set ped interaction personality to scripted timid robbery
Citizen.InvokeNative(0x24C82EF607105FAA, ped, joaat("SCRIPTEDTIMIDROB"))
-- Start intimidated task with the player
Citizen.InvokeNative(0x933ACC1A1771A288, ped, PlayerPedId(), 1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 83968)
-- Make the ped face within the range 0.0 to -360.0 degrees
Citizen.InvokeNative(0x0FE797DD9F70DFA6, ped, 1, 0.0, -360.0)
-- Force the ped to always face the player
Citizen.InvokeNative(0x0FE797DD9F70DFA6, ped, 0)
