# TASK::_TASK_KNOCKED_OUT_SET_DURATION

- **Hash:** `0xFFB520A3E16F7B7B`
- **Namespace:** TASK
- **Runtime name (Lua/JS):** `TaskKnockedOutSetDuration`
- **Side:** client (game native)
- **Name status:** community guess (may change)
- **Documentation:** described
- **Since game build:** 1207
- **URL:** https://natives.borderlinerp.com/natives/TASK/_TASK_KNOCKED_OUT_SET_DURATION

## Signature

```c
void _TASK_KNOCKED_OUT_SET_DURATION(Ped ped, float koTimeDuration);
```

## Parameters

- `ped` (`Ped`)
- `koTimeDuration` (`float`)

## Returns

`void`

## Description

*Source: alloc8or RDR3 NativeDB*

Sets the knockout timer in seconds for a ped that is currently in the knocked-out state.

*Source: VORPCORE RDR3natives*

Sets the knockout timer for a ped that is currently knocked out (See Task_Knocked_Out or Task_Knocked_Out_And_Hogtied). p1 is the duration in seconds.

## Usage

### Lua

```lua
TaskKnockedOutSetDuration(ped, koTimeDuration)
-- always available, by hash
Citizen.InvokeNative(0xFFB520A3E16F7B7B, ped, koTimeDuration)
```

### JavaScript

```js
TaskKnockedOutSetDuration(ped, koTimeDuration);
// by hash
Citizen.invokeNative('0xFFB520A3E16F7B7B', ped, koTimeDuration + 0.0000001);
```

### C#

```csharp
Function.Call((Hash)0xFFB520A3E16F7B7B, ped, koTimeDuration);
```

- Float parameters: Lua integers (`10`, or whole numbers decoded from NUI/JSON) are sent as ints and read as garbage. Write `10.0` or `value + 0.0`. The generated JS wrappers add `0.0000001` to non-zero floats for the same reason.
- The name is a community guess and may change. If the named call is missing in your client build, use `InvokeNative` with the hash — it always works.
