Description

alloc8or RDR3 NativeDB

Forces a hot air balloon to rotate/yaw toward a world coordinate.

Notes:
- Balloon-only: gated to VEHICLE_TYPE_BALLOON.
- Used in update loops during balloon navigation so the basket keeps facing its destination instead of flying sideways or backwards.
- Must be called every frame while the heading should be maintained.
- Fits the dump order with _SET_BALLOON_GO_TO_COORD followed by _SET_BALLOON_HOVER_STATE.

Makes the balloon face the specified direction to fly towards it must be called every frame until it reaches destination

Usage

Lua
SetBalloonFaceCoord(balloon, x, y, z)

-- always works, by hash
Citizen.InvokeNative(0xB42C87521D1BDD2F, balloon, x, y, z)
JavaScript and C#
JavaScript
SetBalloonFaceCoord(balloon, x, y, z);

// by hash
Citizen.invokeNative('0xB42C87521D1BDD2F', balloon, x + 0.0000001, y + 0.0000001, z + 0.0000001);
C#
Function.Call((Hash)0xB42C87521D1BDD2F, balloon, x, y, z);
  • Float parameters: Lua integers (10, or whole numbers decoded from NUI/JSON) are sent as ints and read as garbage. Write 10.0 or value + 0.0. The generated JS wrappers add 0.0000001 to non-zero floats for the same reason.
  • The name is a community guess and may change. If the named call is missing in your client build, use InvokeNative with the hash — it always works.
