Description

alloc8or RDR3 NativeDB

Commands a hot air balloon to navigate toward a target world coordinate.

Notes:
- Balloon-only: gated to VEHICLE_TYPE_BALLOON.
- Must be called every frame while travelling; if called only once, the physics/momentum can stop on the next frame.
- autoPower controls whether the balloon applies its own movement toward the target.
- speed acts as a speed/throttle multiplier; community testing suggests 1.0 as a safe baseline.
- The balloon does not perform obstacle avoidance and may collide with terrain/objects on a straight route.
- Usually paired with _SET_BALLOON_FACE_COORD so the basket faces the destination, and with _SET_BALLOON_HOVER_STATE for arrival/holding behavior.

Makes the balloon go to the specified coordinates must be called every frame until it reaches destination if autoDrive is false,other wise player must drive it manually

Usage

Lua
SetBalloonGoToCoord(balloon, x, y, z, autoPower, speed)

-- always works, by hash
Citizen.InvokeNative(0x2200AB13CBD10F4E, balloon, x, y, z, autoPower, speed)
JavaScript and C#
JavaScript
SetBalloonGoToCoord(balloon, x, y, z, autoPower, speed);

// by hash
Citizen.invokeNative('0x2200AB13CBD10F4E', balloon, x + 0.0000001, y + 0.0000001, z + 0.0000001, autoPower, speed + 0.0000001);
C#
Function.Call((Hash)0x2200AB13CBD10F4E, balloon, x, y, z, autoPower, speed);
  • Float parameters: Lua integers (10, or whole numbers decoded from NUI/JSON) are sent as ints and read as garbage. Write 10.0 or value + 0.0. The generated JS wrappers add 0.0000001 to non-zero floats for the same reason.
  • The name is a community guess and may change. If the named call is missing in your client build, use InvokeNative with the hash — it always works.
