Verified notes

Reviewed in this portal's repository · by borderline-rp

For most of the 78 predefined regions the hash is joaat(name). For 23 entries of femga's wanted regions list — all the OUTLINE_* ones — the name does not hash to the region: use the hex value from that table, never joaat(name).

Verified in game on the Borderline RP server, September 2026.

Usage

Lua
MapEnableRegionBlip(regionHash, styleHash)

-- always works, by hash
Citizen.InvokeNative(0x563FCB6620523917, regionHash, styleHash)
JavaScript and C#
JavaScript
MapEnableRegionBlip(regionHash, styleHash);

// by hash
Citizen.invokeNative('0x563FCB6620523917', regionHash, styleHash);
C#
Function.Call((Hash)0x563FCB6620523917, regionHash, styleHash);
  • Hash parameters: the named function also accepts a string and hashes it for you; Citizen.InvokeNative needs the number — pass joaat("name") or a backtick literal like `name`.
  • The name is a community guess and may change. If the named call is missing in your client build, use InvokeNative with the hash — it always works.
